He is a cum laude graduate of New York Law School. Upon graduation, he joined the largest national insurance defense firm in the country, where he defended a broad array of individuals, businesses and municipal governments in civil matters pending in state and federal court. Over the years, Cliff has been responsible for obtaining multimillion-dollar results for his clients in hundreds of cases. As an active trial attorney, he has been involved in the trial of cases involving catastrophic injury including paraplegia, quadriplegia, severe burns and traumatic brain injury. His practice continues to concentrate upon the representation of seriously injured people whose accidents involve a wide variety of matters including construction accidents, product liability, premises fire and explosion cases, and negligently designed and maintained premises. Cliff has also successfully represented clients in motor vehicle accidents involving highway design issues, premises fires, Jones Act Cases involving merchant seamen and lawsuits against municipal and state governments, the MTA, NY Transit Authority and the NY State Thruway Authority.

With the expertise gained from representing plaintiffs over the years, Cliff also represents the interests of insured and self-insured concerns in a variety of matters including claims made for lead poisoning, the defense of chemical spills and other toxic events.
